US FDA Approval Officially Awarded to the First-of-its-kind Neonatal MRI Developed by Time Medical

February 21st 2023 - Time Medical (“TM”) officially obtained the US FDA approval for its neonatal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system (a.k.a NEONA) on this day.

A world-first superconducting MRI system dedicated for baby diagnosis, NEONA can significantly improve the precision and image quality of fragile newborns, infants and children. This innovation is designed and developed by the Company’s product development team in Hong Kong, to be lightweight and compact to fit inside a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), greatly reducing the health risk of having to move young patients around.

NEONA is also faster and safer relative to a typical adult MR as the system has high efficiency transmission RF specially designed to enable high quality imaging while maintaining low RF power that reduces scanning risk overall.

With US FDA awarded, the Company can officially start its marketing and production to reach an unmet need for specialized neonatal MRI from 8,000 NICUs globally. With this, the Company can also progress it’s discussion with the leading companies in MR industry on global product distribution.

NEONA - an innovative system that has already won numerous international awards including the Geneva International Invention Award, is officially ready for the market!
