The Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation (HKSTP) celebrates the 20th anniversary of its establishment. With the theme of “Innofacturing Tomorrow”, HKSTP organized a 5-day exhibition “INNOMART” to showcase the “Innovated, Designed and Made in Hong Kong” creations of 5 local technology enterprises. As one of the first innovation and technology enterprises at HKSTP, Time Medical is honored to participate the exhibition and showcase the world’s first neonatal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

During the event, founders of Time Medical including Professor Ma, Mr. Simon Yeung and Mr. Johnson Chong presented the company to Hong Kong Chief Executive Mr. John Lee and Innovation, Technology and lndustry Bureau (ITIB) officials. Professor Ma explained to CE that Time Medical (TM) team has been working on the medical imaging technology research and product development at HKSTP since 2008. The founding team originated from the Jockey Club Magnetic Resonance Engineering Center of the University of Hong Kong, who started their own business after graduating from HKU. Professor Ma reported to CE that TM is an authentic local brand of “Innovated, Designed and Made in Hong Kong” and expanded globally. After ten years of persistence, TM finally launched innovative products with hard-core technology, high profit margin and huge market potential.

The co-founders of Time Medical, Mr. Simon Yeung and Mr. Johnson Chong introduced the company's exhibit to the honorable guests, the world's first superconducting neonatal MRI NEONA - TM patented product with original technology that can greatly improve diagnosis precision and quality. Its compact and lightweight system that is specifically designed for easy installation in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NEONA has won the Geneva International Invention Award and has become the most popular product at the China International Import Expo. The system was designed and developed by the TM Hong Kong product development team at HKSTP. NEONA is the first high-end medical imaging system that is “Innovated, Designed and Made in Hong Kong”. There are currently 4,000 NICU in Europe and the United States; more than 3,000 maternity and childcare hospitals in China; and more than 3,000 children's hospitals or maternity hospitals in Asia. There is a huge market potential for neonatal MRI that can reach HK$100 billion. Time Medical will cooperate with leading companies in the industry to distribute its products globally and promote as a Hong Kong local brand in the international market.

HKSTP CEO Mr. Albert Wong further added that Time Medical is a local high-end manufacturing company in Hong Kong. During the event, ITIB Secretary Mr. Dong Sun, HKSTP Chairman Mr. Sunny Chai and other guests also visited TM’s exhibit.

Hong Kong's innovation and technology development is vigorous, and the global high-end medical equipment market is booming. Time Medical will seize the opportunity and make resolute efforts to become a world-class high-end medical equipment enterprise. With its disruptive technology and product advantages, TM will bring 3A (Advanced, Accessible, Affordable) medical diagnostic services to the global public and contribute to the development of Hong Kong's innovation and technology.
