Prof. Q.Y. Ma

Dr. Ma is the Chairman and CEO of Time Medical System Corp, a leading technology innovator in medical imaging and service industry.
Dr. Ma has over 25 years of experience in R&D management in US, and has served as an associate professor of the Columbia University and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ma has 25 patents and has published more than 200 papers. Dr. Ma is engaged in the field of microelectronic devices, superconducting technology, RF devices, biomedical electronics, and medical imaging. He has also served as a consultant for IBM, GE, TRW, and Du Pont, etc.
Dr. Ma is the co-founder and advisor of SMIC (China's first major semiconductor company listed in NYSE and HKEX). Dr. Ma has been promoting the development of China's electronic industry, and has served as advisor in microelectronics to the Ministry of Information Industry, and advisor in hi-tech industry to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou governments. Dr. Ma is an expert in China “1000 Experts Program”.
Dr. Ma received his PhD in microelectronics from Columbia University, and a SEP degree from Stanford Business School. He is currently a board member of CIBR (Coalition for Imaging and Bioengineering Research) in US.

Mr. Govindan studied law at the University of Singapore and practiced as a solicitor in the supreme court of Singapore. Throughout the years, he diversified into various business interests. As a serial entrepreneur, he co-founded numerous businesses in markets including Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, Australia and others.
Mr. Govindan is the Chairman of Mercatus Capital, a private equity venture firm specializing in the emerging technologies, bio-tech, IT, retail and energy industry. With an eye to spot talent and a will to make every business he engages in succeed, Mr. Govindan spends his time managing operations of his portfolio companies and assist the management in developing strategic acquisition programs and revenue enhancement initiatives. Along the years, he gained a reputation for his unlimited passion, fierce competitiveness and extraordinary business foresight.
Besides having strong entrepreneurial skills and well-established business network, Mr. Govindan also provides legal and business consultancy to private and public enterprises, financial institutions and highly influential individuals in this region. He was involved in several large scaled acquisitions both in public and private enterprises, such as the privatization of Myanmar Airlines. Formerly the Group President of Fisher Scientific in the Asia Pacific Region, Mr. Govindan continues to provide strategic advice on Asia Pacific Region for Latona Associates Inc, a private investment and financial advisory firm based in New York.
Prof. David Tse

David K. Tse is the chair professor of international marketing at Hong Kong University's School of Business. Recipient of MBA and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, he founded the Chinese Management Center at HKU and established the China Marketing Institute at Fudan and Peking University. His research foci include the means by which multinational firms enter foreign markets; China marketing; and consumer satisfaction. Mr. Tse has published more than 60 journal articles, books and book chapters on those subjects and his work has been cited by others on numerous occasions. In 2010, he ranked in the top 1% worldwide for scholar citations.
Prof. Tse is an academic trustee for the Marketing Science Institute and a board member of the Sheth Foundation and Pan-Media Institute. He also is a fellow at the Center for Service Leadership, Arizona State University, and the William Davidson Institute, the University of Michigan. He has been interviewed extensively by the news media, including CNBC, USA Today, the International Harold, and several regional newspapers. Prof. Tse also delivered the keynote address at World Knowledge Forums and served as a non-executive board member to several firms.
Dr. Hu Ding-Hua

Dr. Hu Ding-Hua is one of the most accomplished leaders of Taiwan's Semiconductor industry. He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University of Missouri in 1970, and Master's degree in Management Science from Stanford University in 1984.
Dr. Hu is the founder and first General Director of Electronics Research and Service Organization, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). In the years of 1975-1978, Dr. Hu led a team of young engineers successfully transferred CMOSIC technology from RCA and established the first IC Wafer Fab in Taiwan.
Dr. Hu has over 30 years of experiences in the Research and Development and management of high-technology, and is the key person who fostered the formation of high-tech companies including: UMC (1979), tsmc (1986), ZyXEL (1989), MXIC (1989), Giga Solution (2000), Andes Technology (2004) and Personal Genomics (2011).
Dr. Hu is also the pioneer of Taiwan's venture capital investment community. Successful investments include Acer, United Integrated Services, Taiwan Mask, Accton, C-cube microsystem, SST, Altek, J touch, Formosa Epitaxy.
